Education continues to be challenged by the increased prominence roles and benefits of educational technology. E-learning is employed by institutions for many reasons including enhancing the instruction, improving educational quality, increasing access, reducing costs, and sustaining innovation (Twigg, 2001).
As in any environment, there is always resistance to change. This resistance is generally due to many factors, especially, lack of resources or perception of inability to adapt to new changes being implemented. Considering current trends in education, the 21st century classroom would not be complete without computers, software, Internet connections, projectors and a variety of other high-tech devices (Keane, 2002).
This presentation tends to build educators’ confidence to embrace online learning and teaching by exposing them to free tools and easy ways to jumpstart e-learning.
